blackslytherin: What good vampire books would you recommend?
Hi I am a big fan of vampire books. I love Anne Rice and the Twilight series and I have started reading some L. J. Smith ones but I keep having to buy new vampire books and then I finish them within 24 hours of buying them and I am running out of money. So are there any good books that you would recommend that you have read over and over and still find interesting. I have tried some sites but they confuse me.

To be totally honest, there aren’t a lot of great vampire books out there, in my opinion, that aren’t toally unbelievable and not unique.
The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova is a great scary story, and is about vampires, but not in a over done way. It’s a big book, but it was great. It may take you a little while to get into it, but it’s worth it in the end.
The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield isn’t about vampires, but most people who like those stories like this one too.
Hope that was some help.
