gothikgirl87: What exotic pets are you allowed to own in New York State?
I’ve been searching for a list of pets that are allowed to be owned (whether with a license or not) in New York State but haven’t had any luck.
I don’t care about the “exotic pets” that are sold in pet shops (ie. iguanas, tarantulas, snakes etc.).. I want an exotic animal like an armadillo and such.

I know if you have over an acre of land, you can own a wallabee.(a mini kangeroo)
Also, you can get snakes and iguanas and things like that. Nothing venemous
