Lettuce: What does your religion think of nudity? Not in a sleazy way, in the sense of within a nudist colony?
Like I said, not in a sleazy way; in a nudist colony, or in fine art. In non-sexual situations.
What does your religion think of it all?
Is the human body something to be celebrated and admired in all it’s fleshy glory? Or is nudity a representative of sexual desire and immoral sexual acts?
Please let me know which religion/non religion you are part of when you answer, so I get a clearer idea of people’s thoughts on the subject.

I do not know.
But it seems really uncomfortable to me to be naked all the time. What if you are frying bacon? Ouch!!!
Answer by Charles CThe objections of most of the worldly churches to non sexual nudity today merely attest to their unfamiliarity with what God has said about it. This has led to a multiplicity of man made rules on the subject. Read the Bible carefully; nowhere will you find that we are commanded to wear clothes except for certain religious performances of priests in the Old Testament. Adam and Eve were given animal skins to be worn at their discretion for protection from the elements outside the Garden of Eden.
When Jesus died on the cross He paid for all of the sins of all of his people, hence; all for whom He died are in the same relation/standing with the Father as were Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden before the fall.

Answer by ShavedDownUndaI have been raised as a semi-practicing Muslim. I am not religious, but I am spiratual, and I have always had an “anything goes… try it at least once//don’t knock it until you’ve tried it” attitude for many things in my life.
I have been to a nudist spa/sauna, and it was not bad at all. I know that other Muslims will give me a “brother you should never show your privates to anyone” lecture, but for me, I learned much about nudity. Just as in Islam some women choose to wear the hijab–head covering, nudity got me a better understanding more about modesty and for seeing people past their beauty. Thank you Muslims & Islam and also thank you to Nudists.
