Lottie: What do women put up with uncomfortable shoes?
I’ve tried some of the fashionable shoes in the shops and think they are sheer torture to the feet. I don’t know how other women can put up with walking in those very high heels or very pointed shoes. Do they suffer in silence for the sake of beauty? Do they know that these shoes do a lot of harm to their feet, legs and health? Sometimes it makes me wonder what sort of intelligence level people have if they are willing to suffer so much for fashion or sex appeal? If you are a man, do you want your woman to continue suffering by wearing such shoes or do you not care at all, as long as they make her look sexy and fashionable when she goes out with you?
I mean why do women put up with uncomfortable shoes. Sorry for the typing error.

Because I paid $ 875 for them, thats why I put up with them being umcomfortable
I agree with you, I can’t do that to my feet. I like to walk fast, run if need be. High heel shoes do look great though and I’m so jealous of the women who can wear them. I bet they’re jealous of my healthy, bunion, blister and corn free feet though.Answer by Bonnie B
I admirer women who can walk in them really high thin heels and not feel any pain and even walk in them, I just walk like I am about too go a toilet. I wear pointy shoes as they are comfortable but there generally flat’s. I’ve got these 2inch pointy heel’s that I can kind of walk in after a while once I gain confidence. But I dont understand women who go to work in massive heel’s, dont there feet die?Answer by darkangel5331
I’ve put up with blisters and my heel hurting before but I don’t think I’ve experienced anything really painful. As long as high heels have enough support and I can walk without wobbling, I think it’s fine. I love shoes that give you confidence!Answer by Pink Blush

Because women are stupid and supremely vain. Like any man I like a woman to look nice but not at the expense of her health and comfort.Answer by fidgetyfingers

By constantly wearing high heels, the Achilles tendon shortens. That’s because you walk around in constant plantar flexion (on tippy toes, basically). It actually becomes painful to walk barefoot and pumps become more comfortable. Some people don’t mind sacrificing their health for aesthetic purposes. :/Answer by stokies
its pure vanity! when your out shopping etc tomorrow, watch how many women struggle to walk, because of blisters etc,but they’ll continue to wear these shoes, like you say, why? i prefer shoes that i can walk in and feel comfortable in,but also look nice, not a pair that look nice, but cripple my feet and make walk like i need the toilet.Answer by BrittyBoo
i love how they look, how theyre constructed, and i admire the designer. depending on the shoe style, i ALWAYS put shoe padding on the inside. thats how i deal with uncomfy shoes. ha. i live in nyc, i can only last in padless shoes for just 4 hours, tops. =p and then i whip my sneakers outta my bag. crazy, yes. stylish, yes. i love shoes!Answer by MK <

Not only foot and leg problems from those really high heels, but serious back trouble, as well. I used to have to wear heels to work, and made sure they were never more than 2″ ones.
A couple weeks ago, I wore a pair of them to church.
And felt leg pain for the next 3 days or so. Not going to do that again, at least for a long while.
because they look sexy and expensive! as they say pain is beautyAnswer by andri_uk
