It sounds like this is a very stressful environment-which in turn is not good for becoming pregnant. Since you have been trying for a year, you should consult your doctor to see if there is anything internally wrong with you or your partner.
Remember the basics: eat right, get enough rest, and have fun.
good luck
Answer by Kimberly ADo me a favor, go to your drug store and buy a BBT basal body thermometer and chart yourself every morning befor you get out of bed. Chart yourself for a couple of months to notice the patterns in your body. OR by yourself a ovulation kit.
Best time to do it is every other day around the time of ovulaton and the night of when you have the spike down to up. BEST time.
Good luck and BABY dust to you.

more sex is not the answer to getting preg, sperm count actually lowers with more sex, and if he comes inside they can actually live inside you for up to 5days…. one thing I heard for women that condom break or un wanted cum is vagina is not to douch!!!!!! MAybe try to actually douch push them up there, and also from some of the class when a women comes after a man comes in you the small pulse you vag makes when you come helps dip the cervix in the cum …. after he comes with still laying there do some kegels and loosen and tighten the muscles so your cervix dips inthe the pool of cum at the end of your vagina, and stay there for like 20 minutes let them so dont wash … than go try the douch… and I say a bigger load would increase the possibility keep it to every couple of days or so 🙂 GLAnswer by babydolli1969
Two tand or three days before your LH surge, and one day before your LH surge and the day of ovulation, not sure about the day of ovulation but just place it safe.
The more sex the better. Less sex means less quality of sperm.

In an average 28 day cycle, a woman is fertile for about two days. Sperm generally survive inside of the woman’s body for about 48 hours. They CAN live up to 5 days, but very few make it that long, and the odds of pregnancy from those few remaining sperm are virtually nil, so we’ll use the 48 hour life-span as our estimate, since it’s more reasonable. Now, this gives the average woman about a three day window period every month for pregnancy to occur. From this alone, the odds of getting pregnant from a one-time sexual encounter are about 11%.
Now, it’s estimated that pregnancy only occurs (according to medical websites) about 1/4 to 1/2 of the time that sperm and the egg are present together, due to a variety of reasons. This lowers the odds of pregnancy from a single sexual encounter to about 3-5%. This is why there are so many women who are frusturated because, as hard as they try, they just seem to be unable to conceive.
