whoison: What career options are available for me?
I’m a junior once school starts, and lately, I’ve been thinking about what I want to do with my life. I understand that many don’t stick with one career their whole life, but I’d like to narrow down my options.
I’ve always leaned towards the medical field, but I was wondering what I should be doing now to reach that.
Volunteering at a hospital? Internship?
Also, what other options are out there? What are you doing, do you enjoy it?

My career is the absolute best career available. My passion was never in the finance indusrty as a matter of fact I took one math class in college. I hated numbers. However I was looking for a career that would pay me tons of money and help out my family. I found it in the finance industry as a financial adviser. I get paid six figures but most importantly I help out families from all over. I am actually doing pro bono work for the next 30 days. I get to travel all over the place and I help people accomplish financial freedom. I almost feel like dr phil because I am literallyy saving marriages. Money is the cause for divorce 55% of the time in the US. While I am doing all this great stuff I have picked up knowledge about how to leverage my own money and never worry about anything financially. I am 23 years old and I have learned stuff that my father has never even heard of. I go to clients 50,60 and even 70 who do not know what Iknow and it’s great when you can share the knowledge and potentionally affect not only their lives but the whole family. It’s great. If you are looking for a job I hire uindependent contractors in my organization. Feel free to e-mail me
I think if you want a career in the medical field, volunteering at the hospital/looking for an internship in the medical field is definitely a good start.
Don’t try and decide your entire future just yet. I know it’s tempting, but there’s still so many things for you to explore. I’m sure who you want to be when you grow up will change many times before you finally pick something.
But for now, explore through volunteering and internships. Go to your school’s college office and look at the books they have available.
Answer by blackdog301664I’m a miner…I get to play on the biggest toys in the sandpit, all day, every day, and they pay me a lot of money to do it.
I make over $ 100,000 a year and I never finished high school. If I had the opportunity to go back in time I would have finished school and studied for an engineering degree pertinent to the mining industry as the pay is a lot better than what I make. But saying that, I love my job and the qualifications I have will allow me to work anywhere in the world.
Why anyone would want to be a doctor or lawyer dealing with sick people or criminals everyday is beyond me when they can be outside driving the biggest trucks, dozers and excavators in the world.
