Well, first step is to direct your attention toward the House rather than the Senate.Answer by Charlie Jones
interesting point you bring up here. first i should point out some fallacies in your theory. That technically speaking is representation you see those US senators were elected by people to do what they feel is in the best interest of the what the people want. This does not mean that they are always right however there s really no standing for a comparison of he representation we have now and the lack of representation we had with england. (should learn about this in US history) furthermore i think that it is one of the worst ideas i have ever heard to got to war with ourselves. ie civil war you see we are not oppressed like the colonies were we more need to focus on making sure that competent people are elected and that competent people are voting. this will alleviate the problem however there really is no reason that we should think of starting a war.Answer by Armchair Goddess #1
Vote. You have representation right now in both the House and the Senate. If you do not like the way these elected representatives vote on your behalf, then vote them out and put someone else into office.
Right now there is no taxation without representation, by the way. And the Obama administration (with help from the Democrats) has been cutting your taxes if you are a small business owner or an American worker making less than $ 250,000 a year (see whitehouse.gov). Votes were held when these proposals came up for a vote, and your state’s representatives voted, ergo you were represented. Nothing to stop then. The question is moot.
