D: What can I do with a chemistry major that will not require animal testing?
I’d like to be a chemistry major but I want to go into a career that will not require animal testing. I also don’t want to do it in college. I just love chemistry. What options do I have?

There are so many answers to what you could do that there isn’t room to list them here. There are very few jobs that require animal testing. The vast majority all related to the health field, and biology…not chemistry. The only chemistry animal testing job I can think of would be cosmetic design.
The only “animal testing” I knew about in college was with frogs in a biology class. You really don’t need to worry about animal testing if you go into chemistry.
With chemistry, you could work in industry…say paints for cars. Refineries. Power plants. Rocket fuel. Bio fuels. batteries. There are a huge number of environmental jobs, where you’d basically be using chemistry to protect the environment(and animals that live there).
If you love chemistry become a chemist. You’ll find that there are many many things you can do that have absolutely nothing to do with animal testing.
