M. L.: What can I do to smell fresh after coitus using rubber?
I don’t like condoms, because I smell like them after intercourse, but he prefers to use protection over a kid we shouldn’t have right now.
Besides douche, vinegar, and other not-so-good for you home remedies, what can I do to stay fresh and smell of spring down there?
And no, I do not want to put soap up my you know what.

there are several possibilities – douche is not recommended – discover below
Other than waiting for the smell to go away, there is not much you can do to get rid of an odor that is already there. However, there are types of condoms that don’t have the strong smell that you are referring to. Consider trying a silicone condom or a polyurethane condom. They don’t have a smell, and may be more comfortable as well. (Just don’t use a silicone lubricant with a silicone condom, as it may tend to weaken or dissolve the condom.) Alternatively, look for low-odor condoms. Trojan and Durex advertise several types that have a low latex odor.
Good luck.
Answer by TIAJJust use a plain soap with no added moisturizers or scents or dyes afterwards, on the outside and labia. Not inside or “up you know what”. Your vajayjay will do the rest.
You don’t need to douche, in fact, that’s not a good idea, because it can change the natural healthy pH
‘up there’ flushing bacteria and other unwanted gunk from your vagina into your uterus or fallopian tubes, or wiping out the “good” vaginal bacteria and allowing the spread of “bad” bacteria. The vagina really is a natural cleaning organ.
