Jason: What are your best ideas for a halloween costume for a college aged guy?
Its still quite a ways off, but me and my friends were talking about throwing a Halloween party, so I was trying to come up with a good costume. I know its a little geeky, but I was thinking of maybe Rorschach from Watchmen. Any good ideas?

Hey, I love The Watchmen, what a great book. In answer to your question, I get all my Halloween ideas from intelligent bloggers like “Plutonium Blond” which concentrates on cult movies and rare costumes, here is the link: https://plutoniumblond.wordpress.com/

I buy my college costumes from “Black Mambo Designs”, look it up on Google. They have stuff like the costumes from the movie Fanboys and Tron Glow-in-the-Dark costumes.

Rorschach’s pretty cool, but I imagine there’s going to be a quite a lot of people dressed up as him. I’ve seen some good costumes for him, and some bad ones. I think he’s someone you have to get just right, or it’s going to look bad. Some masks looked right on, others looked just plain bad, and almost embarrassing.
I personally think you should go with the tried-and-true ideas, such as being a zombie, or a skeleton, or a mummy. That way, there’s no one way you have to look, you could add your own style to it.
Besides, if you’re Rorschach, you’re going to have to be wearing a cloth mask tightly around your face.
