I want to take my gelding to a show, i don’t feel confident enough to enter any jumping classes in front of people yet 😛 But i wanna take him

What are the rules for the family horse or pony?
He’s13.2hh 5 year old pony ridden by me at 16 and my sister sometimes at 11.
