What are the dimensions of a regular film canister?

Xaledo: What are the dimensions of a regular film canister?
I need to know the dimensions of a normal, 35mm film canister – the height. To be even more precise, the maximum height a paper can be and still fit inside.
As you perhaps can guess, this is for Geocaching – I need to have logs to refill caches I find and I don’t have any film canisters at home.

P.S.
The size is NOT 35mm – that is the height of the film itself.
