what are the different dvla taxation classes?

TANZILC: what are the different dvla taxation classes?
I need to get a replacment log book for my car and don’t know what taxation class it is, one of the examples is Petrol Car, but my car is a Diesel and i am not sure if petrol car covers deisels as well or if there is a seperate class for it.
I can’t seam to find a list of all the diferent classes any were. very gratefull for any help, thanks.

You do not need to know what taxation class your car is . Go to your local Post Office ( before they are all closed down) and ask for a replacement form as you have lost your V5. Fill in the relevant details,- Make , model, number of doors, engine size & fuel type , colour etc, send to the DVLA, and you will be issued with a new ‘log book’ (V5)
