BabyGirl!: what are the chances my boyfriend will be deployed to libya?
How does that work? He was in the military a few years ago in Afghanistan and was shot and stabbed. I’m worried that he is going to be deployed to Libya. What are the chances he will be?

Considering we aren’t sending anyone TO Libya (unless you consider the pilots flying over it) and there is no indication that we are going to…slim to none…Answer by gris

Is he still in the military?Answer by Ruth
No one knows. I’m active duty, and no one knows. Even if we did, we couldn’t post it here on a public forum. He could be tasked at any time to deploy anywhere, you should know that. Don’t trust the news, don’t dwell on the news. Enjoy your life as normal, there isn’t anything anyone can do about it, and worrying about your boyfriend won’t help.
It happens, it’s his job. If you’re serious about being with him, you’re just gonna have to learn to deal with it. I had a friend who had 2 hours notice to go somewhere, didn’t get to even talk to his g/f. She got a text later that day after he had left the country. It’s our lifestyle, it’s what we chose, and someone’s got to do our job.
Hope everything goes okay for you two.
