Tyler O’brien: What are the best soccer cleats for a central midfielder?
I’ve played travel soccer for 5 years and currently own Adipure III cleats. I like them. I am a more offensive minded player who likes to create scoring oppurtunities but not necesarily score myself that often. I am not that fast but have good footwork. What cleats should get?

Just speed, any vapors will do. But for all touch and power, especially control, get yourself some copa mundiales

Adipure’s are perfect for you then… They are light and durable which is good for an attacking midfielder especially when you are more of a playmaker… In my opinion, try to stay away from nike… I absolutely love my predators and everyone I know that seems to buy vapors or tiempos get blisters like hell from them and they rip fairly easily

Whatever football boot you feel comfortable in. There is no specific boot for any position. The skill is not in the boot, it’s in the foot wearing it.

there aren’t specific cleats for positions, it’s really just personal preference. i love nike and that’s the only brand i wear. tiempos are my favorite because they’re comfy! i didn’t get blisters from vapors but they always hurt my feet. they aren’t comfortable, but they are really light.
