Mariie: What are some religions tha believe in the use of marijuana?
I believe in Buddhism but also i believe in the use of marijuana, I have some friends who think i should combine the two into a whole religion cause there are some religions out there. Please help!

i am a christian who believes in the use of marijuana. most christians will tell u its wrong, i read the bible and i have found nothing shunning me for it, only god can judge me, and he put all seed baring plants on earth for our use, marijuana is natural and untampered with unlike all other drugs, but you shouldnt base your religion on being able to smoke marijuana

Taoism actually has a goddess of Marijuana (can’t remember her name off-hand, but I’m sure She’s used to that)

A branch of Hinduism. Where the God Shiva, “Delights in the cruel and drunken practices, (spellchecker, I am English, in England we spell practice with a “c”) of his followers.” A Shiva temple is the only place you can “legally”, smoke cannabis or its derivatives in India.
“legally” here meaning you are extremely unlikely to be arrested. The drug is still illegal in India.

buddists monks are not even allowed to sing or dance so i dont think buddists believe in marijuana use, but there are people of all religions that disobey the little rules like dont eat meat on this day or dont drink ever…..

i saw in the first answer a link to temple 4/20 i saw that in the movie super high me it was a group of christians that said in the bible it talks about a plant used for healing blah blah blah and i know some christians and some mormons that smoke weed.
