nines: What are some good reasons that teenagers should vote?
There is a class project that I have to do for my history class. We have recently read the chapter on how women gained the right to vote and I have to do a project on why teenagers should vote.

What I need are good reasons why teenagers should vote. I DONT need reasons why teenagers SHOULDNT vote.

Can someone please help me come up with good reasons/arguments why teeangers should be granted the right to vote?

The only good reason that a teenager should vote is if they have studied and know what there voting for or about. People that go to polls knowing little or nothing need to not vote. Your only hurting things. I believe that if you do this you need to kill yourselves.

Quite a few of teenagers have valid opinions, and it isn’t fair that the “dumb” ones are ruining it for the ones with intelligent thoughts. Teenagers also witness a lot of problems that adults don’t address. Possibly because teenagers are more vulnerable. The victor of the vote should benefit everyone, not just adults. The parents shouldn’t decide what’s right, for them. Like the song from one of my favorite songs Peace Sells, by Megadeth; “It’s Still WE, THE PEOPLE, right?” Are teenagers not people?

2. Speak for themselves through Voting.
3. It’s their resposibility.
