patyman999: What are some good movies about the lifestyle of rock and roll music?
I recently watched ‘Pirate Radio’ and ‘Almost Famous’ both featuring Philip Seymour Hoffman and I thought these movies we’re amazing because of the way they portrayed the rock and roll lifestyle and the friendship in both movies. Does anyone know any movies similar to these?

There’s a rock movie that should be seen, if you want a real glimpse into the rock music business. Movies and such, often show the fun side but rarely the business people & demands you must endure to make it.

The Rose starring Bette Midler
Its a very realistic portrayal , that many people dont realize how hard being a ” product” actually is.
There’s a lot of fun and great music in this also.. but its a harder life than it appears. Great movie. She won Best Actress Oscar and Frederic Forrest best supporting actor Oscar.
