Gameover175: What are some good media-related movies or television programs?
In my class, I have an assignment to watch three of any television programs or movies that have a story or narrative (drama movies, I suppose is the genre) and is about the media and its influence on people. My professor brought up the TV show Madmen, the movie Wall-e, and Citizen Kane. If you can tell what type of TV shows or movies I am looking for from those suggestions, please recommend them.

If your professor suggested Wall-E, I would suggest Live Free or Die Hard, or hackers. All three show possible impacts of technology on the world and people living in it. Hackers is pretty old(1986, I think), but if you search “Hackers – Angelina Jolie” you’ll find it easily.
