Concerned: What are my chances of getting into chemistry graduate school?
I am graduated last year from Franklin & Marshall college with 3.05 GPA (School’s average GPA is a 3.00). I majored in Chemistry. My GRE scores were 480 on verbal and 600 quanitative. I spent 2 years doing research with a professor. What are my chances of getting into a decent chemistry graduate program?

if you apply to enough tier 3 schools one of them will probably accept you. 600 quant for a chem major?
Your stats are barely mediocre, and a 600 quant will raise red flags for a chem program. You might be able to get into a program but it won’t be very good. It would be better to retake the test and see if you can take some non-degree courses to boost your GPA. Where you go for graduate school can make the difference between getting a job and not.Answer by Mano
