Avril: What are guitar chords that sound good together?
I’ve been thinking for days for a new song. I know how to play guitar but i have like song block. Lol. Do you know any guitar chords in major or minor that sounds good together. Like they blend right next to each other?

G D Am Em
Am F G7
Also arpeggiating chords can add a whole new dimension to it

This will help you get some very good sounding chords, in whatver key you want.
But you should try learning how to build chords based on the scale you’re using. If you’re using a Major scale in the key of C, you would have:
C major – (I or root note)
D minor – (ii)
E minor – (iii)
F major – (IV)
G major – (V)
A minor – (vi)
B diminished – (vii)
And any combination of these chords will sound good if used together. Try using a I – IV – V combination or I – ii – IV – V
