Ant: Wachovia college credit card?
I have limited credit history. Last week I applied for a college credit card with Wachovia and I got denied because I had “insufficient credit history”. If I reapplied but this time checked the box for a “co-applicant”, would I be able to get the credit card this time? A co-applicant is a co-signer that would pay if I can’t. Also, is there a credit card I can get that doesn’t require any credit history?

Well you may want to try as a co-signer or a secured credit card. Those may help you get the credit you need. You’ll have to be responsible for the charges. You should have a PT/FT job if you’re expecting a credit card. You cannot expect to get a credit card and not pay on it. That’s where many people get messed up.
