How do I get vista to default to “shut down” instead of “sleep”?

Meilien: How do I get vista to default to “shut down” instead of “sleep”?
I need to shut my PC down overnight as the power supply that it is connected to gets turned off at the mains. When I Go to Start > Shut down it defaults to “sleep” regardless of what option I chose last time. Is there any way that I can get it to default to “shut down”.

I know that it’s only a small thing, but it’s bugging me.

Power Options
Change plan settings
Change advanced power settings
[expand] Power buttons and lid
[expand] Start menu power button
[change setting to] Shut down
Click OK
Close Control Panel
