One thing I don’t get about twitter is, if a celebrity or whatever says he reads all his fan tweets, I don’t get it. If I post @(name) and then something after. It should go to him so he can read it, but it doesn’t appear on his twitter wall. Now I do see people that have done @(name) and a message too him and it does appear on his twitter wall because I can see it. I don’t get why my mentions doesn’t appear on his twitter wall?

Basically when you ‘@’ someone it shows in their mentions. It will not show on their wall unless they ‘retweet’ it. Retweet is basically when they republish the tweet so it appears on their timeline.

Most celebrities get loads of replies each seconds, meaning they wont see everyone’s, or they just dont want to retweet your post.
