Well first off all if you go to a restaurant you got to be polite to the person attending you otherwise your food may be spitted on :/…maybe that lady was rude to the mcdonalds employee and she got what she deserved….you should of reported him to his manager..
I trust the employees enough to purchase the food they make. But- if you are paranoid about the employees spitting in your food, then perhaps you should stop eating at all restraunts all together. I can asure you that most employees and chefs probally wouldn’t spit into a customer’s food, but there always is that possibility. Overall- if you avoid eating at restraunts, then the chances of you eating someone else’s spit is zero.
I hope this helped you out!Answer by Jay
McDonald’s has always been in these sorts of troubles…
But if you think about it, there are only a few stories heard of that happening, with few employees, and McDonald’s has 1.6 million employees. That is basically a 0.00001875% chance of that happening to you.
Personally, I would much rather spend the extra 40 cents at a different store, where I know that the drinks are from the bottle, not the fountain, where anybody can touch it. Also, McDonald’s adds lots of excess sugar to their drinks in the first place, so it is beneficial just to buy drinks separately.Answer by Maria
Just STOP !! You can go to somewhere elso to eat / or buy any thingAnswer by mellow tiger
the employees would not do that unless the customer is a real jerk be nice and polite believe me you get the best customer service you ever had being nice goes a long way then being a jerk and being mean and abusing the employees.
at my restaurant we had a really mean customer came in ever other day harassing both my manger and our employees so what we did we made him wait bit more than usually we keep skipping his order calling other customers orders so the women probably had abusing the employee so many time she finally pull a nerve
FYI: Soda doesn’t even be touch by no one its in a plastic pouch that all you have to do is hook on a machine that that is combine with Carbonated water as soon as you push the lever soda in your cup
Answer by Mr Monte Carlo SSIf it bothers you that much, then don’t eat there. Your health will probably thank you for it in the long run, anyway………….
If you can’t do that for whatever reason, well, tampering with a customer’s food in any way (including spitting in it) is considered a FELONY in most states and even terrible restaurant managers will be aware of this (since they are guaranteed to get fired if a customer were to report such an incident).
The fact that McDonalds is a restaurant known WORLDWIDE makes it even more unlikely, as the media can make the company look bad very easily if such an incident were to be reported. This means that the franchise owner(s) and the McDonalds corporation will check each location regularly to make sure such nonsense isn’t happening.
Besides, even if you were the rudest customer in the world, most people with common sense would not resort to spitting in the food (since they likely know the consequences of such actions). If anything, they’ll just quit the job so they wouldn’t have to deal with it.

You can’t trust them anymore. In fact they nor any other restaurant has done anything to earn your trust. All of it isn’t malicious. I had to cancel my order once at McDonald’s because the guy making my sandwich, paused to answer his cell phone. When I pointed it out to him, he said that he had on gloves, but on of his coworkers quickly pointed out that the gloves are what touched his nasty phone. You just have to make a personal decision as to if you are willing to block the fact that these things happen sometime from your mind.Answer by Captain ChiliDog
Think about the fact that this incident actually made the news.Does it make the news when an employee forgets to add an order of fries? No, because it happens all the time. A food service employee spitting in some ones food is such a rarity (despite the myths) that when it happened it made national news.
