What training is required to open a pet store?

To open a pet store you clearly need to know how to take care of pets.Obviously experience as a pet owner and the Internet would be a person’s best friend but can you actually go to college for this? Maybe taking courses like biology, veterinary training, maybe a business course? Small pet store owners and other people Answer meeeeee!

First thing to know about would be how to run a business, next it depends on what kind of animals you would have. Nothing beats personal experience when it comes to things like fish and birds. I would consider a course in something like animal science, amd biology. Reproduction but i dont think thats a course about animals and of course read every book you can get your hands on about animals and fish.

If you took a Veterinary course you would save TONS of money on vet bills to keep the animals healthy. Also you wouldn’t just have to be a Pet store owner, you could offer to give other peoples dog and cats and other animals their shots and etc. Thats even more money if you take a Veterinary course Good luck 🙂
