gcgdfreek: the scam security tool has been downloaded onto my computer. How can I get rid of it?
I cant use any of the programs to remove it because securitytool claims its a virus and prevents me from running the program. The only program that will install and run is spyhunter but you have to pay 30 dollars to remove the scam. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this?

Use this.
Edit : once you stop the process, just use this instead of spyware doctor. https://download.cnet.com/SuperAntiSpyware-Free-Edition/3000-8022_4-10523889.html
Answer by Spyware HelperIf you rename any program to “iexplore.exe”(or just “iexplore” if you have file extension viewing turned off) Security Tool will allow you to run it.
Download Malware Bytes and then rename the file to “iexplore.exe”
I just renamed mbam.exe to iexplore.exe on an infected machine and I was able to get the Malware Bytes scanner to run and was able to remove Security Tool that way.
It seems like the authors of this junk can’t really block programs with the same name as the browser since they plan to take your money via the internet. I don’t see how they can get around this unless they start doing MD5 checks on the file that is going to run or something.
