Lebron06: How to stop being so stressful after losing so much money in gambling?
I started to gamble a lot these days. And yesterday night i spent my time gambling. I made the biggest mistake by chasing the lost. Then at the end i lost 900$ . I feel so sad whenever i think about this. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I feel anger and sad and i wish that i never should kept going. I knew gambling is bad but i just want to win back my money. What should i do to stop being so stress out?

know you are a looser and will never win your money back and stop gambling.
My father loves to gamble, and his friends encounter this problem a lot. Really, they just work harder to get back the money, and do fun, recreational things to keep their minds off of it. There is no stress relief, no pill that will make you forget. Do not be concerned that bad, just be more careful with your gambling! I mean, as long as you have enough money to pay the bills, get yourself food and pay your rent, there isn’t any trouble. Don’t stress it; it’s money. You’ll get more.Answer by darren
Lebron,
To enjoy gambling, you need to view it as any other recreation. Only budget to gamble what you would spend on any other recreation (going to a club or sporting event for example.) If you lose, you will have a fun time and not be any worse off than any other night. If you win, you will have had a fun time and made a profit.
Good Luck to you!
Answer by DivideByZeroThe $ 900 won’t do long-term damage to you (or ought not to). If you just cut your losses and stop now, not much harm will have been done and it be as though this never happened.Answer by Jeffrey
Just stop gambling cold turkey… you will lose all of your money, and all you will have to think about is a warm house you could be in if you didn’t gamble… respect your money while it belongs to you…
Hope this helps 🙂
Best answer plz 🙂
Answer by BamblysSo, you had a bit of bad luck. Just learn from your mistake. Maybe quit gambling? Or try smaller bets?
$ 900 is a lot today but in a month, a year it will not look so big. Don’t feel sorry about those $ 900. Rather think whether you want to gamble ever again?Answer by RETURN OF THE WRATH OF THE FIST
You’ve spent $ 900 dollars and learnt that gambling is for losers, some people spend a life time and $ 1,000,000+ and still never learn.Answer by pdq
DON’T stop being stressed out about what you’ve done! DON’T stop feeling sad! DON’T stop being mad at yourself for what you’ve done!!!
THAT’S the best thing you can do for yourself!
I did the same thing that you did, however, I was very easily able to “get over it”, and forget about the pain that I caused myself.
SAVOR this pain! Remember this for as long as you can!
You said it yourself – “but I just want to win back my money”. THAT IS DANGEROUS! As long as you’ve still got that feeling that you want to win back your money, you are in BIG danger of REALLY losing control.
Just think about it – You feel really bad after losing $ 900. How are you going to feel after you’ve lost THOUSANDS of dollars because you went back and maxed out a few credit cards?!?
It’s a dark, lonely, sad, and painful place to be. Believe me – you don’t want to go there!
SAVOR THE PAIN!!! Do NOT forget how you feel right now! This pain is trying to warn you of much worse times that have yet to come if you go back again.
Answer by PsycrilleYou just need to focus on things that will set your attention apart from what happened. And of course, you have to learn from that.
