T³: Starting an online entertainment business online can u help?
I am planning on starting an entertainment(mainly tarot and astrology readings) business and will be charging clients a fee of less that 20 bucks. What is the first thing that I MUST do in order to start a business like this online? I need it to be 100% legal and not a scam. I am honest and would not like to be labeled a Scam artist! Thx in advance.

You mentioned tarot and astrology readings, that is good. but you should think of your target customers. You can still consider some more option along with this. Then you can get maximum visitors to your site.

You should have expertise in this field because it is purely based on predictions.
you can consider many other points like safety and trust building activities, advertising your business and so on.

I don’t know anything about tarot and astrology but I started an online business not so long ago and the main issues were:

1. Building a website that works intuitively

2. Marketing the website so that the right people now about it so I can make sales

3. Apart from that, to make it legal you need a legal entity

I used a mob called Business Switch in Sydney and they were really helpful in guiding me through the important issues (there are quite a few) when starting a business. They also do it for a fixed price which was good because you hear lots of stories of people getting ripped off when starting a business.

You have had some good answers here already. First of course you will need a good and inviting website that will draw customers to you. You are going into a business with a lot of competition so in my opinion, your first priority is to find the best way to promote your website and be first in the search engine list.

If you are offering instant online readings, you will have to have enough people ready to do the readings when the business takes off.

Of course you will need to set up online payments options.

Make sure you have the proper disclaimers in respect of readings.

Then use the Law of Attraction to bring success.
