RickK: If I start believing in God, will that help send Auto Warranty phone scam people to an eternity in Hell?
I get calls every day from these scam artists called Warranty Services. Law enforcement seems powerless against them.
If some religion’s god can help, I’m willing to consider converting.

Only if you pray. You know there is a website I forget what it is called but you can have your number blocked from all telemarketers.
first thing to actually start off being a christian is being serious about it, those you called jokes arnt as funny as you think they are, actually they arnt at all.Answer by who cares
This is your second notice that your vehicle warranty is about to expire
yes, we still know how to reach you no matter where you are.!!!!!
brahhh hahh hhaaaa haha hahah….
Convert because you you are a sinner and only Christ can save you. Maybe God will handle the scam, maybe not. But He can sure handle your sin and give you eternal joy. Maybe the scams wouldn’t bother you as much then.

Why bother exchanging one scam for another?Answer by Andy F
Hmm. I know what you mean. I once tried turning them in to the FBI and the Better Business Bureau, but it doesn’t seem to have helped.
As a one-time Christian, I’m not supposed to hate anyone or wish for anyone to be thrown into the “outer darkness, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
But if I weren’t feeling constrained to love even my enemies, it might be nice to see Warranty Services stricken by plagues of blood, darkness, frogs and all the other calamities that God supposedly visited upon Pharoah.
I also wonder – do they have ANYTHING legitimate to sell, or are they just phishing for personal ID information?

Yes, the warranty scam is the latest skit these morons bug us with.
For months it was “reduce the interest rate on your credit card”.
I want to invent a phone-gun. Press a key on your phone pad, and it blows the head off the guy on the other end.
@FIYAH “if i just hung up on them, will anything happen?”
Of course not! What are they going to do, sue you for not talking to them?
Unfortunately, hanging up doesn’t stop them. Neither does “pressing 2 to have your name removed” like they tell you.
Here’s what I do: I “press 1 to speak with a representative”
Then I put the phone down.
When I hear the phone alarm sounding from the phone, I hang it up.
What this does: They get charged for the call when I agree to speak with a rep. When the rep gets on, he waits for me to answer, but I’m not there. He hangs up. When the line disconnects, the phone sounds an alarm, and I hang it up. It’s just my way of irritating them back, and there’s not a damned thing they can do about it.
BTW, I go a step further if I’m really cranky. I actually WILL talk to the rep just to waste as much of his time as I can. I give them all the info they ask for, being wary to make it bogus if it would make a difference. I think “deeply” about some of the questions before answering, which wastes more time. For instance, they always ask how deep in debt I am, and I always say…loong…and…drawn…out…oh, geee…it’s gotta…be…oh…maybe…10… maybe… 12 thousand. And I continue this way. This guy figures he’s going to make a killer commision on THIS one!
At some point, we get down to brass tacks, and he asks for my credit card bamk/number/what have you. That’s when I tell him I don’t give that kind of information out, and that’s when I feel the heat coming from the other end of the phone as this guy’s commission goes up in smoke.
A commission he never had a chance in hell of getting from me anyway. I don’t even OWN a credit card!
Answer by Fiyah! Canadian BeautyHey I got that call too!! if i just hung up on them, will anything happen?? it freaked me out…Answer by Skyhawk
I’ve gotten them too.
The number was 516-858-7142
The Auto Warranty Company’s telephone provider is XO Communications.
The telephone number for XO’ Comm.’s fraud department is 866-285-6208 . (Yes, the calls are fraudulent)
Call them, give them the number that called you and they will force the company to remove you from the list.
(I was told that XO is currently in the process of investigating the company so they can terminate service)
(Even if the last four numbers are different, but the area code and prefix are the same, use this number)
If you got a call from a different number, log on to:
https://whocalled.us/
Enter the phone number into the box and scroll down to the comments section.
Some of the comments contain service provider info. of the offending company and contact numbers.
Good Luck
Also, if you are on the Do Not Call List, file a complaint against the number.

EDIT: Sorry to ignore the intended point of the question, but just seeing the name ‘Auto Warranty’ switched on my ‘battle mode’ ๐
Answer by meenakshiwell, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, right!
use the scientific method to find out for yourself – why rely on others?
start praying to any god you like, take notes & observations, do it at regular times for regular periods, change only one variable at a time, etc. etc.
see whether after a month [or whenever all variables have been tested] divine intervention has fulfilled your wish ๐
then you can conclude for yourself one way or another, or whether the study was inconclusive & further research is required ๐
have fun while you’re at it & let us know your findings …..
