Puppy Lover: Sports…?
I’m a freshman in High school.
I’m an A to B honors student.
Dedicated, determined, and passionate.
I was wondering if i should persue any sports….would that look really good on my resume? or should i just continue doing volunteer work? Opinions and suggestions would be appreciated. Thank-you.

do sports it shows your well rounded
Defintely pursue sports. Playing sports makes you stand out from a large group of people, especially if you have the grades to show for. If you do paly sports, you are being well rounded, as oppose to a large group who just study and volunteer (not that that’s bad), but you do look good. I know tha IB gives you alot of work, but if think you cna manage both the class and sports, then that shouldn’t stop you. Also, don’t choose between sports or volunteer, do both. You can volunteer doing the summer, and you can not not volunteer because IB requires volunteer hours, and a win win situation is, practicing for a game counts as action hours for one of your volunteering hour sections. That will give you alor of volunteering hours, as well as a better resume. So, good luck.Answer by dieseldadd
I would NEVER p-u-r-s-u-e any sports because of how it might look on a resume. Either go out for it because you LOVE it, or don’t go at all. I can’t begin to tell you how many coaches, all across the U.S. and many other places as well, I’m sure, have told that very same thing to their players, either during training or before a game or during a game or after a game. NEVER pursue a sport because of it’s appearance on a resume. Either you like the game or you don’t, and THAT should be your ONLY criterion!! God Bless you.Answer by Larry i’m dump and need help
Definitely pursue sports, it shows that you have energy. and if your sports has a successful season it shows that you push for success in all things you do.
