soccer….?

Is soccer a dangerouse sport? i dont really like playing soccer, but when i see the world cups, or Euro 2008 or something, i think…well….i see everyone getting hurt, and so i think it is a dangerouse sport…is it?

Soccer is not as dangerous as American Football or Rugby. Soccer players are known for “faking it” to change the pace or to win free kicks or penalties which isn’t as effective as you think. So Soccer not so dangerous.

Sometimes tackles/fouls can be quite lethal which can be dangerous but overall it isn’t as dangerous as say Rugby, many injuries that occur in the game aren’t as bad as they look, usually a twisted ankle, muscle cramps, leg injuries, only occasionally you get the odd leg breakers but its not really THAT dangerous oh and sometimes players will fake an injury to be awarded a free kick or penalty so don’t always think that they are injured badly because you usually see them get up and start playing again after.

1st of all-alan h-its NOT a “mans” sport. women kick butt at soccer unless of course u get those little sissy girls out there. but then again sissy guys play out there so why not sissy girls??
but to answer ur question, its not dangerous-the players just fake it. u might get a few bruises but thats pretty much it.

For sure no, as long as players follow the rules.
If players do not follow the rules, then it might be dangerous and players could get hurt each other.
That’s why players long for ‘fair play’.

Soccer is like THE BEST SPORT you can watch and play!

it is not dangerous its only that some people just do that as a technique and a cheat so they will get hurt not hard to goal heheheh thats just my opinion….

well from my point of view, im brasilian and i played some street soccer in brasil, lets just say, they have the power to kick your feet right off your body, you WILL be scared of the ball with the way people kick it with such speed and accuracy, and the goalie, by how hard he chases the ball will cause you to flip or just back away from him. people judge the sport by what they watch on tv, it really is dangerous, IF you play seriously
