white people have white skin until they go out into the sun and get tan, but some mexicans have farmer tans. I was wondering because im half white and half mexican, what color will my skin be if i go in the sun for a long time, cuz usually it turns red and then turns white again or stays red, how do i get brown skin like a mexican (like my grandpa) and not using a tanning bed or nothin being in the sun.

Being half Mexican does not guarantee that you will win the tanning lottery. You apparently did not get the tanning genes from your grandfather. Your skin type is a 1 or a 2 on a scale of 1 to 6 (Fitzpatric Scale). Your grandfather is probably a 4 or 5. That is the trouble with being half anything. You may not end up looking half, due to genetics.
