Sims 3 advice please?

MissMexicanMaxime: Sims 3 advice please?
I am going to buy The Sims 3, no doubt bout it. I just have some queries.

1. I used to play the sims 2 on my computer but it really slowed it down and i can’t play it anymore. So with the sims 3 i am going to play it on my laptop but my laptop is Windows Vista so i was wondering if it would work and if the graphics will be affected much.

2. Which should i buy – the normal Sims 3 or The Collecters Edition? I know the pluses in the collectors and i really want them but i was wondering how much more it costs? and where i can get it (I’m hoping to pre-order soon). I live in the UK so prices in £ and english stores/online stores please!!!!

there’s a website for the sims 3 that will tell you want system requirements your computer will need. But if the sims 2 slowed it down, then I’m pretty sure TS3 will be slow too. TS3 needs much more memory and Ram power. Make sure your graphics card can handle the game.

I’d buy the Collectors edition. They usually have a few additional item or features that the normal game doesn’t have.

The Sims 3 works for Windows Vista.
I checked the website cause i have Windows Vista also.
The Sims 3 collecters addition is 90 dollars in American money but the regular Sims 3 is 50 dollars American money.

The bonus game comes with a usb for 1 or 2 gb and a free car download for the game.
