Kratos3228: Should I start buying video game blu-rays for the PS3 even though I am planning to buy PS3 a few months later?
I’m planning to buy the PS3 console a few months later, I can’t buy it at the moment. Should I start buying its games now? So that I can play a lot of games when I buy the PS3 console? I would have a large PS3 games collection till then.

Games could go down in price by the time you play them. Not to mention the warranty will be over before you can see if they work. Just buy them when you get the console.
I would put the money aside until you get the console. If you buy the games now something may happen later on that makes it to where you can not buy the console when you were hopeing. If that does happen you would then have all those games and nothing to do with it. But if you put the money aside as you collected it you could then go buy all the games you wanted when you pick up the system and be able to play them then.Answer by Tyler Pattinson
It depends on the game, some new games go down on price, look for games that already went down on price. Otherwise, wait till you get the system.
