i go to a private school and yes we wear uniforms…but what can i buy this weekend that will make me look older? make up, shoes, camis, etc???? i am getting my hair done tomorrow with highlights (from brown to dirty blonde) and getting a short, choppy, punk looking hair cut. What else can i do to go back to school as a totally different person?!

hmm….you could get a totally loud and cute bookbag/tote, and wear funky headbands. if you can, paint your finger nails a different color, like hot hot pink or blue.

You don’t want to look older!! Believe me, you’ll be grateful when your older. I’m 22 and always get carded and people always assume I have a fake ID. It’s great, enjoy it!

Ok, this may be a totally stupid answer, but think about this before deciding.

Don’t just change your outside appearance, change your inside too. Go back to school with confidence – be different. If you were quite and shy, go back bolder and louder. If you were loud and mean – go back as a kind, gentler person.

It will really make people wonder what you did over the summer.

i go to a private school too. wear more jewelry. like those brack rubber braclets and put them together and wear them.
for makeup, wear eyeliner and maybe some black eyeshadow on the eyelid, but right by the eyelashes with some mascara and a color eyeshadow that will bring out ur eyes. for shoes…wear sk8r shoes from journeys, like adio,etnies,converse,DC..stuff like that. for camis..i like Limited Too or Old Navy for tanktops and camis. and if you can paint ur nails, wear black or bright pink or red…some stuff like that.

here are colors that will bring out ur eyes–
green—purples and light greens and silvers
blue—other colors of blue, but light, and brows and silver
brown—golds

buy some accessories for your hair and other accessories like earings..
look for high heels (but not over high)… also wear a natural make up

If you can afford to go for it, there’s a bunch of fabulous Juicy Couture jewelry you could wear. Also, if you can find some adorable looking shoes that fit into your school’s dress code, go for it! I would say much more, but the problem is I don’t know what specifics your school has or if there’s like days that you can wear “free dress” like there used to be when I was in middle school (I go to a private school too). And maybe a little bit of mascara… but whatever you do, don’t overdo the make-up. Seeing as you want to look older, you’re probably fairly young, so I don’t advise more than a little light lipstick, some mascara, and maybe some eye shadow. Too much make-up, and you could look ridiculous.

school is such a runaway fashion show these days=[
