pandabear: How can I keep my shoes from being destroyed when traveling?
When traveling abroad I usually pack very neatly. The problem is always my limited space and the amount of shoes I want to take with me. I have a rather large wheel bag for when I fly. The problem is that shoes, especially heels, always get mushed and squashed in a bag with all the clothes. I can put them in the shoe boxes and then in the bag, but this takes up too much space.
Are there any fashionable frequent flyers out there who has a tip to help me keep my shoes looking good when traveling?

I pack into my shoes my socks, nylons then position the shies into the corners on the diagonal
heaviest ones in the bottom of the luggage, the lightest ones closest to the top {handle}
It seems not bad
