Why not? I’m Lexi! ♥: Puppy!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I am worried about my new puppy. PLEASE don’t suggest a vet! Ok, my puppy doesn’t have shots yet(i dunno if that matters…) and a few minutes ago she threw up some dog food, then she got the hiccups(I think they were hiccups, they felt like giant heartbeats, but I knew they weren’t heartbeats because I felt her pulse and it was faster then the ‘hiccups.’) did the hiccups cause the throwing up? (shes only a couple months old, so she isn’t pregnant, not that she COULD be, because she doesn’t know many boy dogs, and she is too young.)
Well, thanks for the suggestions, but she has been acting normal for a while. I am sure she probably WAS growing up. 🙂 she’s ok now!
we are NOT going to change her food! She is fine with the one she is eating

Vet.
Why doesn’t your puppy have her shots? Why can’t you take her to the vet?
Throwing up one time is not of much concern. If she refuses to drink, continues to throw up, had diarrhea on top of the vomiting, is lethargic or whines a lot she needs to go to the vet. Whether you want to or not.
Answer by LauniShots are important. So is deworming. So is flea prevenative.
Ummm, sweety, your puppy needs to go to the vet. Period. For anyone here to tell you different? We would not be taking the responsiblity of informing people who are not informed seriously.
Answer by Stacey S.First of all why has your puppy gotten no shots yet?
As for her throwing up,if she does it again(for no apparent reason youcan see) im going to start the choir and say you should see a vet..
Heck, she should be seeing a vet already for shots and such.

Take her to the vet and get her shots ASAP. She will get parvo. If you can’t afford a vet then find her a home that can.Answer by Anna
check her feces for worms. Also change her dog food. Don’t give her canned dog food either. We use Iam’s puppy. My pug get hiccups alot but the vet said its normal for the breed.Answer by Arizona
Of course vaccines matter. So does a wellness check by a vet.
If you don’t want to hear the safe and responsible thing to do-then why post at all?
Has your animal been wormed?A vet will prescribe according to weight providing the animal is in good health.
Rabies and parvo is running rampant right now(if that matters)Answer by raerae
the dog could just be sick (throwing up food is really com men for a dog, especially puppies because they are just getting used to eating solid foods) i wouldn’t worry about the dog being pregnant unless it has had its period. if it gets worse or carries on you should go to a vet.Answer by Dressage Chick <3
This is no big deal, as I already told you over and over again. These people saying to take it to a vet know nothing, and don’t realize that throwing up is normal for a dog, especially if she ate to fast or is growing. Since you told me she didn’t do it over again, theres no reason to panic AT ALL.
As for the shots, the people here don’t realize you’ve only had her for a week. Getting shots in a week is pretty soon, guys, and she’s not even being taken out for walks or anything.
And for the person saying to get her a new home, do some research and find out that she’s only had this dog for less than a week.
Hope this helps, Lex.
