rawr! im a dinosaur B!@#$ : Puppy????????????????????????
My puppy died recently. She had a mental disorder, that may have been sesures where she would get agressive and then sweet. We had to put her down when the vet saw one of her siesures. She was only 5 months old.
Would a new pet help me feel better or should I wait? Should I get another puppy or go with a dog. Or should I wait to get a dog and go for another animal or none at all? I don’t want to be upset everytime I see a puppy.

I think you should give yourself a little time to grieve first.
Getting a pet right after another one has died can be a negative or positive thing.
It really depends on the person. You have to think hard and look into your heart. What do you feel is best?
You could always adopt a puppy, that always made me feel better after a pets passing….to save another life!
Sorry for your loss.

im very sorry to hear about your loss, no matter what it’s hard when you lose a pet. this sadly is one question you’ll have to answer for yourself, but also take out the amount of time you feel nesscary to grieve for her before going to get a new dog or puppy.
if you feel you and your family is ready for a new puppy or dog, then go for it. but i would suggest going to an animal shelter. you can find all kinds of puppies and dogs, who need a forever home. talk things over with your family before you make any rash choices, and make sure all is comfortable with the idea of a new pet so soon.
when everyone has agreed to get a new pet, take part of the afternoon and go down to the shelter visiting the animals there, perhaps ask if it’s alright to take a picture of the dog’s you like, take these home and be prepared to discuss what you liked or didnt like about the dog, when you’ve made your choice, return for your new friend..good luck!
Answer by KathyYou should give yourself time to grieve. This loss is causing pain and you need to work through that first. That way you can go forward in peace. I would suggest going to a shelter and adopting. You may not find the right dog on the first visit, but both you and the dog will know it’s right when you meet. Good LuckAnswer by Person P
Yes, get another puppy but don’t get one from a breeder because those are the puppies that usually have health problems. I have a dog and a puppy myself right now and I got them both from a regular pet store and they’ve been fine since.Answer by devin lover
