So I wish to build websites for companies, create online stores, blogs…just about any type of website a regular web designer could create for his customers.
Please tell me what programming languages should I learn for making good looking websites.
How long would it take to achieve this?

IMainly to make a website Learn first HTML
Then for advanced websites learn PHP
you can find tutorials in this website

and of course you will need a server
you can get a free server and practice using it

and to make a good looking site get a ready made template
then edit it as you like

You need an eye for design, first of all, and you need to understand the basics of print layout. If you don’t get these fundamentals, programming skills won’t do you any good.

Basic language you have to know is HTML,CSS and Javascript

you can build a website or blog on HTML itself. and its easy
