smiley_face_giggles: How do you book a trip for two people but they’re coming from two different airports?
My boyfriend and I are planning to go to Mexico. But the problem is, we will be flying from two different locations. We would like our connecting flight to be the same. I was just going to book his flight separately but it cost way too much than to book together. I am thinking I would have to call a travel agent to set it up for me, but before I do, is there a way that I can do it on a website, any website first?

WTF are you trying to accomplish?
2 people, arriving at the same destination, from 2 different airports.
Not so difficult. Really.
Lose the idea of being on the “same” connecting flight together;
You’ll be together once you arrive.
You’re making this much more difficult than it has to be.

If you start out from 2 separate origins there should be 2 separate bookings, doesn’t make sense to book together. You could do it yourself by:

1) Searching on one single airline tickets from the 2 origins to the Mexico city.

2) Should you two end up on the same connecting airport, good. If not, one of you should consider searching for a flight from home city to the connecting airport through a different airline.

3) Should it become too expensive to fly 2 separate airlines just to end up flying together on the same connecting flight, consider arriving at the Mexico City separately as you 2 would be meeting eventually, only a few hours later.

There is a way to do this, but it will require a lot of extra effort. Go to orbitz.com. Then book your flight with whichever airline you choose. Then you have to go and do a separate booking for your boyfriend, but you have to fly with the same airline and make sure your connecting city is the same and you both arrive in time to meet up on your flight. When you choose the flight, make sure the connecting flight(s) have the same flight number, date, and time. If you do all this correctly, you should be booked on the same connecting flight.
