: How can people believe in religions when religions have been the separation of humankind?
Imagine the world without religion. People, we live in reality. Religion is beyond our understanding/perception of it. Why judge people according to religion standards.
Since religions contradict each other, why believe in them? to make us more isolated of other people
I am not an atheist. I believe in a creator (God). But, I don’t believe in religion. It creates inequality and hatred.

I think people believe in “religion” (the general category) because it’s a way to provide answers to questions that really can’t be answered. If science can’t explain it, religion can. People don’t like the unknown. It freaks them out. To a lot of people, it provides the strength and hope that things can get better and everything happens for a reason. Personally, I am not a religious person at all so I totally see where you are coming from. I just think religion means a lot to lots of people. If that’s what people need to get through life, more power to them, just don’t preach your beliefs to others. We all have the right, thankfully, to believe what we want.Answer by GenevieveD
There has been division and strife from Babel forward. We are susceptible to temptation, and we sin. We fight over land and power. The Haves fight the Havenots. It’s been that way for a long time.
That doesn’t mean there isn’t a God, or that religion doesn’t serve God. It just means some people don’t worship in Jesus’ name, whether they say they do or not.

People were born into different religions, and most people don’t like change – there is comfort in the known. The unknown is a fearful place, where you might discover things that will rock your belief system, and people in general like a feeling of belonging – somewhere in a social group. Only a few people have questioning minds, and will dare to go against establishments, and risk ridicule. The basis of all religions are the same: love thy neighbour. But people, driven by greed and lust for power, changed it to suit them. Research showed that Constantin for instance, was a follower of the Roman god Mithras. Yet at the conference at Nicocia he decided to make Christianity the accepted religion in Rome. The church changed a lot of texts in the Bible to suit them and keep them in power. That’s all it is – you don’t need any religion to be a good person. You know the difference between right and wrong – you need to elevate your vibrations spiritually by meditation and helping others – living a good life. God is within all of us – we just have to make that contact. No church will be able to help you make that contact – you have to do so yourself.Answer by daddy

We like to be separated. We feel alive only when there is a separation. We have come to such a pity situation.
