I want to redeem my eBay card, but it says i need a paypal account! Is it free, does it take money from my credit card, and is it going to charge me???

PayPay is free except for the conditions below. It should be attached to a checking and/or credit card for convenience in adding or removing funds.
The only time there is a fee is if you are a business or you have accepted funds from someone who used a credit card. Also if you have them send a check rather than transfer funds to a checking account.

Answer by KimaNo, PayPal is totally free for personal account. And they charge very small fee for the money transactions. They won’t charge from your credit card unless you permit. But they are very safe. I have been PayPal member for 10 years.
