Okay, so I just realized this when I bought a few panties at Victoria’s Secret PINK earlier today. Well you know the part of the panty when your…you know what part touches? (not the butt back part), But that groin part. Well, have you ever noticed that there’s like a little pocket thingy there? Why do they have that? I’ve noticed that in a lot of other panties. Even thongs that I’ve bought!

having a panty fetish myself, I have noticed this too.

It is my understanding that this fabric (usually cotton) is sewn in to the panty for hygienic reasons- women get yeast infections / bladder infections more easily if synthetic material (nylon, satin, etc) other than cotton is worn next to their lady parts for extended periods of time.

As to why the front isn’t sewn down the same as the back, it’s probably for looks. If the front part was sewn in, there would be a horizontal seam visible on the outside of the front. Without the seam sewn in, it gives more of a smooth uninterrupted look.

that’s were you keep your spare tampon…or your i.d.
they put that there so you don’t have to carry a purse around with you if you don’t want to.
or you can hide a key to your house there. that way if you lose your key’s you wont get locked out!
