Opera?????

Ok I use Opera insted of internet explorer because with internet explorer I get soo many pop ups
but the problem is I still get some pop ups from internet explorer even if I haven’t opened it
is there anyway I can stop pages from internet explorer without stopping Opera?

Seems your problem is: your system is infected by some Trojans-virus or some adware ..
try to use some Trojans remover, like:
– SpyRemover:

or some Powerful and Updated anti-virus like Kaspersky Internet Security..

I think it should be your own choice that which Web Browser u want to use. I love to use MOZILLA FIREFOX. Its appearance is good, key shortcuts and specially an inbuilt download manager.

Pop up setting can also b changed manually.

Go to Tools->Options->Content

here u can describe the site names.

Interner explorer also allows to block pop up abut not so efficient.

To block pop ups in internet explorer go to Tools->Internet Options->Privacy->Pop up Blocker

i use Mozilla Firefox for the same reason…
but, to cure this problem, i had to uninstall the internet explorer

You most likely have adware. Virus, Spyware, Trojans, and Adware all do different things and you need different tools to get rid of them.

A Virus gets in your computer to destroy data or steal data. Spyware is used to collect information about what sites you visit and what programs you use. Trojans get in to control your computer. (Typically to spam websites.) Adware infects your computer for the purpose of showing you advertisements.

I recommend Ad-Aware 2007. It’s a simple, free program that works better at this problem than most any other.

Edit:

I should note. You still may get pop-up ads on Opera. I don’t know if you have ad-blocking on Opera or not. However, they will be regular popups meant to be opened by the site you are visiting. That doesn’t sound like the problem you have having though.
