myspace wont let me message people that arent on my friends list… ppl will message me that arent on there and i will hit reply and it wont let me… is there a setting i can change?

Go to privacy and turn on Require email or last name before sending message.

It should let you send messages to anyone regardless if they are on your friends list or not

This means their profile is private and you have to send the a friend request a hope they accept you so you can send them messages.

This doesn’t have anything to do with dogs.

However, it’s probably because they have privacy settings. You have to be on their friends list to talk to them, I’m guessing.
