My mom wasn’t focusing and she put regular dish washing soap in the rinse agent compartment/section/holder/canister of our dishwasher. Will this break it? How do you drain it? What should be done to fix this problem?

Let it go through the rinse cycle to get all the soap out, you may have to do this 3 or 4 times to clear all the soap out of the dishwasher.

Don’t blame that on your mom !
I bet you got bubbles all over the place don’t you!
It took me 2 weeks to get it cleaned out.
You just have to let it run over and over till it’s rinsed through.
You may have to wash dishes by hand for a while to!

suck out what you can with a shop vac strange but it works then rinse it acouple times,if you don’t get what you can out you ll be running it lots and lots to flush it

Sounds like a job for a turkey baster. Then run it through a couple of cycles.
