Moving Apartment and Renting?

I am looking to move into a new flat and would like to get it sorted sooner rather than later. My tenancy in my current flat ends at the end of June.

My question is whether I could put a deposit down for a flat now and move into it in the middle of June. Do you think any letting agents would allow that?

I understand that its 10 weeks that they aren’t getting rent, but some of these properties have been on the market for some weeks so my guess is that they might be glad just to have someone move in.

Unfortunately, no way of knowing unless you ask the new landlord. Nothing to lose by doing so. Comes down to how hungry are they to let. Good luck!
