You could pay him an allowence to do weekly chores around the house. Or you could give him someything like $ 10 for cleaning the garage or something like that. It would save you a lot of time and he’s only 11 so doesn’t need that much money. He’s a little young to get a job if you don’t want to pay him. But you could see if you could get him a paper route or something.

If you have neighbors you like and trust maybe he can get out and help them with chores if they have any. Raking leaves, washing cars, cleaning houses, anything he is capable of at 11 years old. Just make sure you know who he is working for and you trust them with your son (I’d say this if he were 11 or 18).
Be creative, too. I know a woman who I play tennis with. She pays her daughter to pick up tennis balls during clinic so that our pro always has a full basket. We get to play more cause we don’t spend time picking up balls. Pay him to wrap your Christmas gifts andything that makes your work easier.
