neutrals for eyeshadows. Matte and satin finishes show less wrinkles.
the more shimmer or shine the more flaws will show up.
cream blushes. They wear well and don’t dry out your skin. m.a.c. makes some good cream blushes, natural to non natural colors. If you apply it with a 188 or 187 brush it looks even more natural.
my answer is… u need a pink lip shiner and dark pink blush maybe.. then eyeshadow is.. ummm.. grey!Answer by Jaxma
Most of the high end brands of foundation, i find, are fairly heavy on your skin. I would try something with moisturiser in, like the new Covergirl/Olay one. Also tinted moisturisers may be the go, the best of these in my opinion are Estee Lauder, Clinique and Laura Mercier.
As for colour on the cheeks i think peachy or plummy colours, depending on whether you have dark or light skin are the most natural. And eyes i say when in doubt go neutral! There are so many things you can do with a bit of brown and cream coloured eyeshadow!!
Hope i helped 🙂

well..a peach colour makeup would suit and a light pink makeup also would suit well…the colours which are lighter like pinkish and light brown would really look nice for older skin 🙂Answer by Jannah
I can only assume that you already have good skin care habits to successfully apply color to face.
I would go with the Estee Lauder Companies. This company owns, Estee Lauder, M.A.C. Cosmetics, Prescriptives, Bobbi Brown, Clinique, La Mer and Origins to name a few companies. These products are quality. I know that Bobbi Brown focuses on more skin care for women who are over fifty.
For colors, you should stick to neutral colors. This is what works for most women. Since I do not know what you look like, I would suggest getting your face made up by a skin care professional at any of the above mentioned makeup counters. They will be able to match your skin tone to a good foundation and concealer. If you want a little more pizzaz, you should try MAC Cosmetics. They have the most variety of any brand. I think they have over 100 shades of lip color, many many eye shadows and blushes. You can have a bit more fun with color here than with most other brands.
Answer by caterpillarBeing I am over 50 thats what I wear. Of course a good skin care regimen is a must as far as daytime lotion and nighttime cream
Bare essentials gives me FULL COVERAGE without looking like I am wearing a mask. If you need a little more to cover certain imprerfections..the mineral veil is also good.
I use:
dermablend coverup under my eyes
then I use the BE foundation
I use the BE blushes all over(these are just beautiful sheer pwoders that add a healthy glow & light to your skin)
I also use there lipglosses(very sheer, pretty and not gross or sticky)
I use regular mascara/shadows(the BE shadows are little to hardcore for my wrinkling eye lid(LOL)
I really like BE because its quick easy and it makes you look fabulous!
BTW….ebay has the BEST prices on this makeup & their brushesAnswer by duet
I’ve been using Mary Kay for about 18 years and have always loved it. I liked it so much that I became a consultant about 4 years ago. MK has been around for 45 years and their products just keep getting better and better. The type of foundation depends on your skin type. Also, the way foundation looks on your skin depends on what you are doing under it. Great skin care goes a long way! As far as color goes, stick with neutral tones for everyday wear. For you eyes, I recommend spun silk eye color for the lid to brow area. For the accent, go with something a little darker like hazelnut. You can get application tips on the website. For the lips, remember that darker colors tend to make your lips look smaller. If your lips are starting to thin a little, go with a lighter color. For more information, you can go to my website listed below or send me an email. Based on your skin type and coloring, I can give you a more detailed and customized answer. I can even mail you samples if you’d like. Best of luck!
